Landana ORGANIC goat cheese Charmeux, a specialty on the cheese market! Landana ORGANIC goat cheese Charmeux is a semi-hard organic goat cheese. The cheese is also known as "red bacteria" cheese. Washed rind cheeses or red-culture cheeses are softer on the inside and have a light to dark orange colored rind. After the production process, the cheese is smeared with the bacterial wash. This process is repeated for six weeks, resulting in a nice soft, supple inner cheese with a characteristic smell and taste.
